This message was sent to 40 people that are connected with Al Hiking Trail Soc and have helped with this before, but anybody is welcome to come camp with us and enjoy the fellowship and satisfaction of doing your part to keep the trail clear. I will be there at least 2 days myself although not sure which days yet.

It's time for the Fall Trail Work Week. The dates are Nov. 7 - 14, 2010. Camping is being arranged at Cheaha State Park which is free for Trail Crew Members. John Calhoun is leading the effort this Fall. His email address is <
jncalhoun@juno.net> Please contact him and let him know if you'll be camping and what nights.
You should bring a tent or RV, sleeping bag, sturdy boots, lawn chair, snacks & food items for the number of meals you plan to have while camping/working. Plan on long pants and long sleeve shirts for work and clean clothes to change into. A hat, bandana, sunscreen and bug repellents are good to have too. If you have a pair of loppers, an outdoor saw, or weed whacker please bring it along with a pair of gloves.
The work will be the annual clean-up of our section of the Pinhoti Trail.
I hope you can be there. It's always a fun time.
