What is a good price for a used Tarpon 120 about 1 yr old? The reason I ask is I found one but I'm not sure it's a good deal.

D, I have a tarpon 120. I'd say $250 if showing some wear and tear to $500 if near perfect. Mine is near perfect and I would not take less than 5 bills.

$500 Is what I was thinking. Any more and I'd just buy new. I was just asking because I didn't want to be tryin to rip the guy off. It looks to be in great shape.

Check with Mike Warren @ Terrapin Outdoor Center in Piedmont. 256-447-6666. He is a WiSy dealer and sometimes has a blem or a used boat. He usually sales a new blem for less than $500.

I've talked to him and he has two old stocks for $700 and the new stock for $780 both out the door. The one I found was bought there in April last year. He said its only been in the water 5 times for $600.

If you can get it for 5 bills, I'd say that was a deal. You can't beat the boat. In my opinion it is a great boat and will last a lifetime.
