This week I'm heading back to the trails to finish hiking TR204 and try to re-locate TR205. Has anyone hiked TR205 recently? I see it on the Cart O Craft map as an unmaintained trail. Any reviews I find of it make the trail sound a bit dull (like Narrows Ridge maybe?). West Bee Branch is also on the list.

It's easy enough to follow from eye of the needle to the west bee turn off.  Been a year or so since I've done it, though.

The last time I hiked it was the spring of 09 and it was a mess then. The thing I like about it is the canyons leaving it offer some good avenues for exploring. And it's not traveled as much.  We tried to get the FS to make it an official trail so it could be maintained.  Since it's in the wilderness, unless it's designated an offical trail, you're not supposed to maintain it.  They refused and being a ridge line trail, downfalls are plentiful.

"It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it while you can, while it is still there. So go out there and hunt and fish and mess around.  Ramble out yonder, explore the forests, encounter the grizz, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air. Sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely, mysterious and awesome space.  I promise you this one sweet victory, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by calculators. : you will outlive the bastards." "downfalls are plentiful." - Uncle Wayne

That is definitely the truth!
