Whassup guys ! I am brand new to the board and relatively new to hiking. I started hiking to get in shape for the Search and Rescue Team I lead. Now I am addicted ! I mainly hike the north sections in AL but want to hike them all. I live about 30 minutes from the trail and work right near it. If I can ever help anyone with shuttles etc. Feel free to message me. I work for EMS in Polk County GA and we have recently formed a ground search and rescue team. a small part of the Pinhoti is in our area but we are willing to help anywhere as well. Again feel free to message me ! I would like to become active in a trail club around my area. Anyone have any suggestions ?

Welcome, a lot of of good folks here, I'm sure you'll like your stay.  Not sure of any formal clubs or anything, but I'm sure if there is any looking to add some numbers someone will pipe in.
