I saw a post not too long ago in which someone said they were looking for the book "Walking Sipsey" they said they could not find it and it was out of print. I don't remember if the Wren trading post still had it last time I was there but I was in the Oakville Indian Mound Museum today and they have plenty of copies of it.

I wish they were open on weekends as I would love to pick up a copy. Do you remember how much they were going for?

They're open on Saturdays until 4pm and I'm pretty sure they're open on Sunday as well.  Every time I've dropped by has been a Saturday.  The book was around $18.

I must have read some unreliable info at --> http://www.tripadvisor.co...eum-Danville_Alabama.html as the guy said they were closed on weekends. I could've stopped by on my last trip had I known. It takes me a couple of hours to get there & I might not be able to make another trip that way till fall so if the books an easy pickup for anyone I would gladly paypal $30-35 if they would mail it to me.

According to here http://www.lawrencealabama.com/p201.html, it's 1-4pm both Saturday and Sunday.  Here's a phone number (256)905-2499.  Though I think they'd be more inclined to take a check from you and mail you the book back out, if anything.

Another idea...Wild South sells one of the Butch Walker books on their website...contac t Janice Barrett, see if they'll be willing to mail you a copy of the Walking Sipsey book.

I put the check in the mail last Monday, received my book today. They didn't even charge for postage to Gadsden.

I received my book in the mail from the Indian Museum & have already found some great stuff in the book. Thanks for helping me get ahold of it!
