Hey guys. What is the best section up there to paddle? Trying to find out about a good stretch with no more than class III's. Any suggestions or info would be awesome!

I have not run any of Little River, but if you're looking for a run of class 3 or lower, You will definitely want to avoid the section from Al #35 to the chairlift.  Chairlift to Mouth Park is a class 3.  Other sections through the WMA above Al 35 are nice.

Lots of info here   Look for the run index. Click on any section for details and descriptions.

East Fork of Little River is the one you are looking for, anything else passed that and you will find them calling them class III, but in reality, they are class IV+ rapids.

Go to Wally World and get the Delorme mapbook fo the state of Alabama. It will prove to be a great friend.

Check briartech.com for free maps and info. His maps are usually good for overviews and
planning but you will need a real topo for hiking.
