So far I've only been able to find two on the Coosa river.

Any more?

I'm over in MS so this is the closest whitewater to me. 4 hour trip beats the 8 hour to the Nanty.

Alabama Outdoors and Mountain High Outfitters may have some stuff. You might try them but they are not strictly whitewater oriented by any means.

For some reason, I thought Coosa Outfitters and Terrapin Outdoor Center were the two shops on the Coosa Shakespear was referring to.  Here's links....

Coosa Outfitters has been sold, i went in last week to get a tarp for my hammock and was met by the new owner which took over July 1st. He seemed pretty cool and since they are only 2 blocks from work i try to support the hometeam as much as possible. I hope he makes it.

Just bought a new Pyranha Burn from Mitchell at Coosa Outfitters. My son needed a new boat-he's outgrown his and mine too.
Mitchell gave us a good deal, we got it for a lot less than list price. Plus, if you buy a new boat, you get 15% off accessories.

Looks like Coosa Outfitters has moved. They are now on the corner of 4th and Broad.
