Average of 47 miles a day...did she hike this thing or run it?  That's blistering fast.

Yeah, that's blistering fast. Even if I could do 47 miles a day, I don't think I could do it for 46 consecutive days!

Alabama.

Actually Jennifer is from Hendersonville, NC. She is a grad of Samford. She did not run averaging 3-3.5 mph for 15+ hours a day. This was her third AT thru hike, one of which she set the women's supported record of 57 days and one a traditional unsupported thru hike. She also holds the unsupported Long Trail record.
