Did they mention any dates for the trail work in December?
It would really be awesome if they could eventually take the trail all the way to Mouth Park.

Sorry, We have been a little slow with our trail days since hunting season started. I usually send out invites through the facebook invite page. These are not BSA events, but they are National Park Service volunteer days and events. You will get an invite if you are on our friend list.
If you "like" the Facebook page you will get the event info.

I've managed to just say no to Facebook so far, but others in the family have an account.
Speaking of family: Shawn (the impetus behind this project) is a cousin in-law of mine. The boys and I turned him on to alcohol stoves and hammocks. I figured he would be too busy lately for trail days lately with a new baby in the house. We're going to try to be at the next workday.
We need to hike this entire trail soon, maybe make an overnight trip out of it.

I'd love to, but I'm probably grounded for a couple of weeks.

Hey Guys, I have been meaning to keep you informed, but I have been slacking... The trail is open and in good shape, besides a little recent flood debris by the river. It is definitely passable. Most of the trail signs have been installed and we are hoping to get the 50 ft bridge installed by feb-march. It is still passable by an over and under cable bridge (the tightrope) I will try to start a thread and post some of the maps that I have been working on, along with trailheads and trail to trail mileage, etc.
We will be having a trail day in February to transport the bridge pieces to the site, but if we have any good weather we may have some short notice work days mainly on Saturdays.
Let me know if you guys have any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
Shawn
