Anyone done this loop over the last several weeks.  Planning to do the hike sometimes in early April and was wondering if the trail is in good shape, etc.   I did it last spring and it was fine then.  Thanks in advance for your help.  Also, is it still safe to leave a car at Adams Gap or would it be better to park somewhere else.  Again left one there last year without problem.

Ednotthemilkman and I did the loop back in Feb. and the trail was in goo shape. There was a controlled burn done on the middle 1/3 of the SkyWay trail. The campsites on ether end are not touched.

The water at the Pinhoti, Odum, Chinnabee intersect was back and the streams elsewhere were in good shape.

Edwin and I did the trail just before We started getting the server storms coming through regular. So you may find some new blowdowns.

I have parked at the parking lot at turnupseed several times in the last year and not had a problem. I know some other hikers were parked a Adams gap and I didn't notice any broken glass, or here about anything at the store (I did ask).

Hope you have a good trip.

Careful on the Skyway trail. Just last week sections were closed due to the burnout. Check w/ the ranger station to see.

The Pinhoti section from Adam's Gap SOUTH was closed on March 13th for a burn, but I walked through it, as the fire was several miles off to the west.  Its rained since then.

I walked from Bulls Gap to Cheaha Park last week, and other than a few blow downs, had no problems.

Going back Wednesday to finish the northern part.
