Well, right now we are trying to connect the Pinhoti to Flagg Mountain so when it gets there I think it would make the Pinhoti quite more popular to call it the official starting point. Of course popularity doesn't always bring benifits...

Well I'm with the AHTS. Of course I know that's not the only group working on it. Really I'm not refferring to any one group in this project, but every hiker who comes to help out. It is the individuals who are making this happen.

It is going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.

What is their problem with including the southern extension as part of the AT?

So according to the NPR story it would effectively remove a lot of tourist dollars off Georgia but nobody seems to be saying anything about that. I wonder when it will become an issue.
