Ok So it looks like we are about to get the forums up and running. I would like to say hello to any wondering drifters we have coming in before our official launch. feel free to go ahead and get yourself registered for an account. We are going after this process in the most organic way we can and plan to make this a completely democratic board. I would like any and all opinions about future additions. Everything will be considered.
I started this board because I sawe a need for a central community forum between the various groups in the hiking community of Alabama. I hope that this will be a place where everyone can get involved with the outdoors and develop new relationships with others who enjoy the outdoors.

A note about the Pictures in the Gallery.

Their maximum width can only be 800 pixels and maximum height can only be 700 pixels.

please resize your photos before you post them.

Hopefully they will start including auto resize sometime soon.

Very happy to see the website up and running.  It will be a great opportunity to share info on Alabama hiking.  Great looking website...but I am biased (webmaster's Dad).

This should be a fun venture. I can submit a lot of pictures and information. I've been on Alabama trails in some capacity for nearly 19 years. Good job Matthew.
