Took a hike down 207 yesterday. The views from the trail are awesome and the wild flowers are blooming making it even better. The trail is good condition for the most part there are several downed trees across the trail, but I am guessing they have been there awhile seeing how there are side trails around them. The trail is a bit over grown and hard to follow in some places. Due to our late start and rain we didn't get to hike all the way down to borden Creek, however I was able to get some good photos  Grin. I have them posted on my website in the portfolio area under  bankhead 207 http://cynthiamckinney.photoworkshop.com

How about 9-11 conspiracy nut, Security guard beater and current Green Party Presidential candidate. Unfortunate coincidence.

You got that right. There were 5 of us hiking SW from Ship Rock to Borden Creek, and we passed 3 occupied campsites and maybe 3 hikers the whole day.

We heard nothing but birds and footsteps. Just the way I like it. I think the fear of rain kept most away for the day...

Great work Cynthia, and thanks once again for the trail info. I have to get out on the trail more and meet more people from Alatrails soon.
