I've been making nearly weekly pilgrimages to Sipsey all Spring, and along with other trips that has meant that I've gone hiking every Saturday (at least a few miles) for the past few months, plus some Sundays, and a scattered day or two during Spring Break.

I'm not getting out as often as I would like. Hopefully after I finish Army Basic training in October and go through AIT I can get stationed in Fort Maclellan so I can close to the Pinhoti when I have time off.

I wish I could get out more. but once or twice a month is all I can do in the winter. In summer it is even less.

Oh, I thought it was still open! We were eating in Oxford and saw some folks at the table near us that were wearing uniforms and I assumed they were Army from McClellan.

Looks like I need to go find me a time machine!  Grin
