For those of you who attended one of our Backpacking 101 workshops, here's a chance for you to put what you learned to use! We will car camp at Little River State Forest (11 miles north of Atmore) so you can have a chance to test out that new gear you purchased and to talk more about backpacking with hikers with different levels of experience around a fall campfire. We will meet at the Little River State Forest office at 3pm, perhaps take a short hike, then gather around the campfire for dinner and a night under the stars. We'll break camp no later than 9am Sunday. The event is open to everyone, so if you didn't join us for the workshop, join us for the fellowship and fun! For more information contact
