Work continues on the trails of Flagg Mountain. Join us for a day or the weekend as we work to complete the loop trail atop this historic Alabama peak. Bring work tools (gloves, loppers, etc.) if you have them, otherwise they will be provided. If you plan on spending the night with us at the CCC tower, bring your car camping gear. Worked on new short cut trail off the main trail for those wanting a shorter hike ,new trail is to the right of kiosk marked by orange ribbon/tape.Work done with Skip Essman,Tim Rolan (me) under the advice of Mike kennedy.

The end of this trail where it meets the existing trail near the old lodges needs to be moved ,as it is now it's too hard due to the landscape there being too steep.Needs to be moved off to the right and join the trail on the ridge after the lodges instead of before.
