If I'm going to continue to try to hike, I am going to have to lighten the load considerably. I have some items that are in excellent, like new, or some even new never used items I am willing to part with at half or less than half price. Awesome savings potential for some great gear!

MSR Duralite Classic cookset 1.5and 2 liter pot w/ lid, grabber, pac towel and bag    $40    New Never Used

MSR Whisperlite stove w/16 oz. fuel bottle and all the stuff that came with it when purchased    $40   New (lit one time)

Thermarest Prolite sleeping pad (short)   $40   New Never Used

North face Rock 22- 2 person Tent w/footprint (ground sheet)      $60   Excellent like New condition

Kelty Coyote 4750 Back pack     $45   Excellent condition

Mountain Hardware 1st Demension 30* polarguard sleeping bag w/stuffsack and storage duffel $45  Excellent Like New

I would like to sell as package to someone who wants to get out on the trail but can't afford to go out and purchase alot of expensive gear to get started ( kind of a goodwill gesture to get them them going). Hopefully some of you can give them some guidance on a potential purchase. I'll remain on the sidelines and see what happens. This was approx $600 worth of gear when purchased new.

You got it BL67! E-mail as to how/where you want to meet/ pick it up. I live out on 280 in B'ham. Would definitly prefer you see/inspect before you buy. I should be off by 5 p.m most days. I always work the weekends though. I will try to accomodate your schedule.   Happy Trails........  Rob

Thanks Matt, I thought we used to have a For Sale board.

Bearleader67,  It is a Regular, anything over six foot would probably be a tight fit length wise. It has an expansion zipper along it's length which gives it about 4" of added girth for more moving around space, good for side sleepers. Would be more suitable for probably up to about 5'10".

If the sleeping bag is still up for grabs I would like it; as well as the Whisperlite stove.

Actually I still have all of the items in my posession, I need to contact BL67 to see if he is still interested in the items he requested. Will make an effort to take care of this and repost.

After much thought I have decided to withdraw my offer of the for sale items posted. I am sorry if this is an inconvienience to any interested but it takes way too much time and effort to try to deliver the products to those who show an interest. I'm sorry that there are those that think I work too much but it pays my bills and I have made a responsible commitment to my employer and myself. angel
