Well in one of the ads in their magazine at least. I was notified by someone today that they noticed a picture of me in Backpacker magazine. This came to quite a shock to me as I usually do not make appearances in popular magazines. It was a picture of me and someone else standing on the Pinhoti looking over a ledge where the dedication was in March. Just a picture. Not a particularly big picture either. I am not sure what the ad is for as I have not seen it yet. All I know is it has to do with Alabama.

The picture was taken by some reporter folks  that wanted to film us a few hours before the dedication. I can only surmise that the people who were making the ad saw the picture. Saw how great looking I was and said "Damn were putting him on the ad".  Grin

It's really not much but it makes me excited.  Cheesy

Neat Chris. I was going to bring up the full-page ad on page 11, where they are plugging the Pinhoti as Bartram's original vision.

Seems to me, that picture was used in the Atlanta Journal story about the Pinhoti not long ago.  Or one of the newspaper's over here.

A few Hooter Gal's in that picture would have made it even better !    Lips Sealed

Well there are mobs of people with Backpacker Magazine banging down my door trying to get an autograph as we speak. I think I may have to call in the National Guard.  Smiley

Oh, I know her. I know everyone. I'm a celebrity now ya know.  laugh

And Jay in response to your previous statement I get it now. I apologize I am a bit sick and have a headache so my reading comprehension skills aren't at their best.

She is not the one who has bore me life. Though she is on the AHTS board of directors to.

I just don't know how they would feel if I used their name and I don't like infringing on other folks.

Ok I looked through the issue today and found the picture. It is the picture farthest down on page 10. Two people with backpacks on looking over a ledge. It is also very, very small.
