This Saturday we need to put the finishing touches on the Lake Lurleen trail. We have many marker
signs that need to be put up along the trail, a number of trail fixes and several trees that need to be
removed. We need all the help we can get. There will be no Alabama football and this will be the best
weather to do this kind of work.
This is the perfect opportunity to help out the club, the community and state parks, and I would consider
it a personal blessing to me too. If you are going to do one good deed this year do it this Saturday at
the lake. 8:30 AM. Make sure to tell the gate that you are there to work. Please RSVP so we will know
how many are coming. We need about 20 people or more. Gloves, bug repellant, food and water are
a good idea to bring. I will provide these things to those that don't have them. Contact me with any
questions or concerns.
