I'm sorry if you would have just bothered to check the AlaTrails Hikers group bylaws you would have seen under section 54 article 2 it distinctly say's "NO MOUNTAIN BIKERS ALLOWED" .

I don't raise my hand for no little dinky ribbons and badges. When do we get useful stuff like a Campmor coupon or somethin'? I don't even get a karma point. Isn't karma kinda anti Christian?

Ok, you get one anyways. Nobody is forcing you to do anything . I will be giving these out based on participation regardless of wether people ask for them or not. When do we get useful stuff like a Campmor coupon or somethin'?

You get karma every time you post a new topic. Or when you participate in something that earns you Karma. And Unless someone has changed the rules dramatically, I don't think even the karma of Hindu or Buddhist traditions (Which has Nothing to do with this forum) has any aim toward Christianity at all.

Jay, Yeah, Karma is shorter. I know he wasn't a "religious" figure, but didn't Ghandi say something to the effect that "God is God" or something similar. That's always been how I looked at it, although that is WAY beyond the original scope of this thread. Ed, I've got a coupon for some tissues that you are more than welcome to. There is, however a length application process that requires several essay responses on topics ranging from why you deserve Karma to Christian-Hindu relations.

How so? Are we to say that things that are not Christian in origin are anti-Christian?

1st commandment of the internet: Thou shoult google. http://www.christianliter...om/feb2003/adamkarma.htmlEphesians 2:8-10 (New International Version) 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Karma is earned, salvation is a gift.
