On our recent weekender, DW and I both agreed that the clothes-bag (1 change + an anorak) made for a lousy pillow. We're both side sleepers and use double pillows at home.

So what do you use on the trail?

We bought this one last week and used it. At 12 oz, its not the lightest one in the world, but it's big enough for side sleepers and doesn't smoosh down flat while your sleeping.

I feel your pain flemdawg... I normally use rolled up jacket or a bag as a pillow.  Works ok, but not great.  I recently purchased a Henessey Hammock - don't really need a pillow with it and it works great.

DW bought an inflatable pillow for me but I haven't tried it out yet.  I have been resistant to taking up pack space for a pillow...
