Stinkin Dryrot! I haven't used this thing in 7 years and it was old when I got it:( But I love this pack (Its ORANGE hee)
Does anyone have any good ideas for making a waist strap and shoulder ones? or am I just better off getting a whole new pack?
I found some Kelty straps but all together and shipped sheesh! I could head over to Dick's and get that external for $70 and save the hassle!
Whatcha think?

I've replaced straps and waistbelt before, but from another thrift store BP. Unfort, after I replaced them I put it back in the closet till I sold it at a yard sale.

Yeah I figure I am going to use the frameless 3200cui that I have for now.. its comfy and I can move ,for now .  But soon very soon I will need to find something I can replace the straps on it if all 5 of us go for more than a day and a half! DH got the last Goodwill find..A brand new external pack,it won't even adjust ,sigh... So until I can find a pack or lots cheaper straps I will make do:) plus the frameless is lighter and I can arrange my rigid stuff to make it seem framed:P
