I camp in a tent when I go hiking  Grin  A trail journal is just that, a journal of your daily activities along the trail, what you see, what you did, etc...

My Spousal Unit and I went to Kennesaw Mtn National Park, to see the view from the top of the mountain, before Spring gets here.  Was a beautiful day, but we only walked about 1/2 mile to the top of the mountain.

Yesterday we drove up to Amicalola Fall's State Park outside of Dawsonville, GA.  Another place you need to visit before the leaves mess up the views.  Short hike from parking area... but I...well..neglec ted to tell the Spousal Unit...  it was all UPHILL...and up STEPS !   oppsss  The water falls is about 800ft... I think we climbed about 500ft, from lower end to viewing platform. That was a mistake...  thats when the spouse noticed the other trail, that came off side of mountain, with no climbing or STEPS  !

Yes... I know this is an Alabama forum... but I'm in Georgia at the moment !!   Oh... and I got a book the other day,  " 60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Atlanta ".  I think I'll check them all out.

Seriously, if I have a TR (trail report) from a few weeks back will that work and still count or are you giving the 5pts only from this date forward?

I have a few typed up and ready to share, but they are from a few weeks go, if that matters.

I imagine the good karma will be from when you post it.  It doesn't matter when you wrote it, unless it was before Ivan...Now we will have to adjust our trails over the recent tornado damage in some areas...
