   Civil War history on Monte Sano Mountain comes alive...trek from the former hiker’s parking lot (recently refurbished) to the site of the surrender of Confederate troops in 1865.  Hike leader: David Young
   Directions: East on Governor’s Drive (US Hwy 431) then left (north) on Monte Sano Blvd. to trailhead parking lot on right just past the road to Burritt Museum.   Free to the public
