Consider yourself lucky that you can SCUBA. Four busted eardrums have me limited to about 15-20feet. It's tough and the pressure hurts.

BTW, thanks for the laugh Bear. Speaking of geocaches, I never found those 3 in sipsey I went after. I got close and my error on the gps was roughly 60' so I didn't spend too long looking. Maybe next time.

Diving is an awesome adventure! I was certified by NASDS back in 1982, I don't think they exist any more. I believe the only one out there is PADI, is this correct? I used to go diving all the time. Being a Florida native it afforded me the oppourtunity to go Ocean or spring diving ( prefer Ocean diving )
My last dive was in the Tortugas off of Key West. I dream of one day, although not likely to happen, going to the Great barrier reef.

I'm glad you are enjoying it Skippy. I think it would be a good idea for me to take a refresher course before I went again. My gear, still down in Fla., is probably suffering from dry rot and I know the tank would have to be certified before using it again. It's been about 8 years since my last dive.

Rob, I think that there are still several different certifications available but not sure of who they are. My certification was thru PADI. I have been going diving as much as possible since I got certified.I have heard that Key Largo is a great place to go.
I am planning a trip to Destin at the end of September and will also get to camp out--can't wait
