I've read a few articles on the subject and the final verdict seems to be she fell while hiking alone. No foul play is suspected, nor suicide, at this time. Just something to keep in mind when we try to take grand pictures from precarious ledges *cough*Matt*cough*.

Do I need to post Josh's waterfall rules? Stay off the cliffs and waterfalls. Please. Let this tragedy serve as a reminder to us all to play it safe.

I can see how it could happen, I actually chickened out and didn't hike alone at Cloudland Canyon. Of course, it was also 90 degrees out.

My heart goes out to her family, whatever caused this tragedy.

/Says the guy who was saved from a 20 foot fall by a stickerbush. I'm sorry little stickerbush.

I know,  I'm sorry.

Insert public service announcement about how falling is the #1 cause of death and Injury to hikers and backpackers everywhere here.
