Flemdawg1 mentioned donating some camping equipment in one of his posts. It got me to thinking. I just want to throw out there that my den of Cub Scouts will be crossing over to Boy Scouts in February.  They all have family size tents with family size cook ware.  So if any of you have old tents, packs and other assorted backpacking equipment that you would like to donate to a den of Cub Scouts just let me know.

Anyhow you wanna do it. I work In Anniston  and it was $2 so it really isn't a deductible issue Smiley I can mail it or keep it here at work or is there somewhere that would be a good place to leave it for pick up ? OH! I live like 8 miles from Cheaha if anyone is going that way then your way.. Or I will be at the Mcwane center on the 9th of Sept and I could leave it at the info desk with your user name?hmm I have to go out to Pelham to pick up a bike at Lakeview punc(Church)(5000 Hwy 11 Pelham AL 35124.) that I got off Craig's list wanna meet there or I can leave it there or something? I am going out on the 9th after homeschool science class then home. Ideas?
Or I can just mail it if you think they will need it sooner:) Its not a rigid frame one its a soft frame but I think it would be good for a 12yr old or more kid its got lots of space tho it says its a Med. Lots o straps Tongue

I would be happy to donate those poles.
I live in the McCalla area (10 miles from Hoover).  Not worried about it being a tax deduction.  Just let me know how best to get it to you (drop off point, etc.)

If I keep this pack much longer lol it will have all kinds of stuff in it! I found a kids mess set to go in it(yk the colman frying pan cup pot and plate thingy that clips all together? I made some stuff sacks for us and put a couple in there.. So its getting some odds and ends anyway:P might have a sleeping bag (kid one) its heavyish tho. lmk if you want it its a decent actual camping one prob about 40deg.
I wish I had known earlier I could have given that tent I sold for nothin! gr
Still lmk what you want to do about pick up drop off.
