So a dinner social will be held in lieu of hiking!
Details:
Thursday, September 11th
6:pm til ...
Jim N Nicks Oxmoor and I65
All you need to bring is you, and a healthy appetite for hiking talk and BBQ!
This event is sponsored by Alabama Hiking Trail Society, membership is not required to attend. Your guests are also welcome.
Please come out and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow hikers.

I'd love to meet you all for an evening of food and fellowship, but its just too far ; if its farther north than Troy, its not worth it for me unless its a hike, a bike ride or a high school football game.

would it be doable for us to show where we live, by county or another state, when we sign up, and sign in to the site?
Like have a page with the AL counties outlined plus neighboring states and then let us click on where we live, or let the server do it automatically to show where the members are, maybe one count for all members, and one for those who have visited the site in the last 7 days.

2 things, cut of these last couple posts and make a "where you at?" thread.
And theres a google tool that you can add (yea, like I dont know how, but I know it exists...) for people to pinpoint their location.
